Directions

From Monroe, Washington, drive east on Highway 2 and turn north at the Index turnoff onto the North Fork Skykomish River Road (Road #63). Drive for 18 miles to the trailhead.

Trail Description

Blanca Lake is an impressive lake tucked between Columbia and Kyes Peaks. Because it is fed by the Columbia Glacier, it is a beautiful greenish color. The trail switchbacks to a high point at Virgin Lake before descending 500 feet to the shores of Blanca Lake.
