Directions
From Enterprise, follow Hurricane Creek Road south, for approximately five miles to a fork in the road. Continue on Hurricane Creek Rd., avoiding the left turn, and follow the paved road for three miles to the trailhead.Trail Description
This is a very steep trail leading to a small lake perched on the slopes of Hurricane Divide in the Wallowa Mountains. Follow the Hurricane Creek trail for 0.1 miles to a right hand fork with the Fall Creek Trail. Follow this steep trail for another 4 strenuous miles to the lake. This has to be a pretty awesome lake.

Bruce at OregonPhotos.com adds this comment: "Legore Lake is officially Oregon's highest true lake, so breathe deep and savor your triumph when you get to this frigid little lake!"
