Directions
From Bend, drive west on Cascade Lakes Highway for 26.4 miles. Turn right at the sign for Green Lakes Trailhead. It's easy to miss this sign since scenic Sparks Lake is on your left and may be distracting.Trail Description
From the parking lot, follow sign for Fall Creek and cross a single-log footbridge. Trail goes along creek with several waterfalls. A few minor creek crossings, most have footbridges. Mosquitoes can be bad. Also, patches of snow can be treacherous. This trail can be high traffic, especially on weekends. After by-passing trail to Moraine Lake on the left, there's a series of switchbacks. At the top, you emerge to an obsidian flow and glassy waters. Keep hiking along trail to Green Lakes. Spectacular view of Broken Top and South Sister.
