Trail Description
The Drift Creek Falls trail winds through typical coastal forests of small second-growth trees, along side clear cuts, and next to nice little creeks. The hike is pretty enjoyable though and ends with the Thundering Drift Creek Falls and a cool (and a little scary) suspension bridge. The hike is not too difficult, and would probably be great for a family outing along the coast.
Comments
Just a couple of days ago the face of the waterfall collapsed, so while it's no longer so nicely craggy and picturesque, you can see the immediate effects of a rockslide.

A nice trail with few people even on a Saturday in August. Also the Drift Creek Covered Bridge, on the drive to the falls, is a nice attraction.

A very easy, nice hike for the family. The 240 foot long 100 foot high suspension bridge is the crown of the trail.
