Directions

Trail Description

This is a great family hike. It's pretty short, has a great lake with Mt. Hood framed as a backdrop. It is crowded though - even in the winter. It is a good choice to introduce someone to snowshoeing. At the trailhead, you cross a creek and climb 750 feet during the 1.5-2.0 miles to the lake. If you want to double the length of the hike you can head up to the top of Tom, Dick and Harry mountain.
