Directions
From the McKenzie River Ranger Station, drive east on Highway 126 about ΒΌ mile to Road 2643 (Foley Road). Take Road 2643 about 8-1/2 miles to Road 480. Continue driving for about 2 miles to the trailhead, which sits at the end of the road. There are quite a few parking spaces, and the road stays in good condition throughout the drive.Image by: Forrest
Trail Description
On the western flank of the Three Sisters lies a spectacular high-elevation park-like area sprinkled with meadows, lakes, and clear streams with great mountain views. This route rises through the heavily wooded area of the western Three Sisters Wilderness and emerges into this beautiful landscape.
Comments
The lake doesn't really work as a loop trip in itself. If creative, I think you could do some loop trips, or lollipop loop trips. For instance, if you were doing the larger loop trip around the three sisters, this would be a good side trip.

Can you add this to another trail and make a loop?
