Heading east on Highway 2 drive 8 miles past Gold Bar. Once you reach milepost 35 turn right and drive about a half a mile to the trail head.Trail Description
This trail starts as an old road for the first 1.5 miles, then in the final 2.1 miles is where you will gain 2000 feet elevation to see this spectacular alpine lake. On the way back down you may consider taking a side trip to Bridal Veil falls a 1 mile round trip detour to an impressive waterfall viewpoint.
