From Libby, Mt. head south on Hwy 2 for 17 miles to West Fisher Creek Raod. Turn right (west) and drive 6 miles to road 2332. Turn west and drive past Lake Creek Campground for 3 miles to the trailhead. This road in is well signed.

Trail Description

Geiger Lakes trail 656 is an easy two miles to Lower Geiger Lake, three miles to Upper Geiger Lake, and four miles to Lost Buck Pass. Once at Lost Buck Pass continue on the trail to the south for about
1/4 of a mile and take in the wonderful views of Wanless Lake just below Engle Peak. Visit the lakes on the return trip for great shots of the lakes with big mountains in the background. This hike is in Trails of the Wild Cabinets by Dennis Nicholls on page 67 and in 100 Hikes in the Inland Northwest by Rich Landers on page 250.
