Need help from the midwest. I'm planning a three night trip to the cascades in late summer. We enjoy mountian views, summmits and few people. Have any ideas on trails?
My favorite place in the Oregon Cascades is Elk Cove on the north side of Mt. Hood. Visit midweek if you want to avoid the crowds.
The best place in the Oregon Cascades is Jefferson Park. It can get busy, but the few times I've been there I've been able to find seclusion. The Three Sisters are good as well. Mt. Hood gets too busy since its so close to Portland.
