Any good ideas for spring trips?

The weather has been awesome!!! What are some favorite hikes or 3 - 4 day trips that are thawed out already? I want to head out to Eastern Oregon for a few days and would be greatful for some beta.
I've been trying to get over to the North Fork John Day area. I'm actually not sure when it becomes free of snow (low point: 3300' high point: 5100'), but I think sometime in the coming weeks, quite a bit of it would be open. It should make for a great early season backpack.
The other hike that I really want to do in late April or early May is the Honeycombs loop. I've talked about this in past posts, so I won't go into it again here, but it is a pretty awesome trip.
