Has anyone done any hiking on the Northern California coast? I'm looking for a good backpack.
you should look into the "lost coast" near Humbolt. cant quite remember more info right now, but I have done it 2 times and it is a remote butt kicker of a backpack trip. Notrailsnw body is out there.
I've been looking into this a little on my own. I've found Prairie Creek State Park, which looks like it may have some moderately long loop trips possible. Unfortunately you are never to far from a road, but it stilll might be nice.
