I need some backpacking ideas for the 3 day Memorial Day weekend, ideally within a few hours of Tacoma. Thanks
It's tough this year with the snow and weather conditions (I think today's snow level is 3,000 feet!). Last memorial day I did the Enchanted Valley, which because of it's low level was snow free (and should be during this time of year). I would look at this, and other low-level valleys in the Olympics. Probably your best options.
