3-4 Day Trip in Oregon

Return to Message Board

I am looking for a good 3-4 day trip in Oregon or southern Washington. I'd like to do something that it not to hard and has alot of great scenery. Any suggestions?

What does "not too hard" mean? More than 1,000 foot gain in elevation per mile? Do you plan to set up a base camp w/day hikes, or are you going to backpack the entire 3-4 days? One of the most beautiful hikes in Oregon is the Obsidian Trail in Three Sisters Wilderness. You could easily spend 3-4 days exploring this area. A permit is required for overnight trips, which can be obtained from the Forest Service. It's a means for them to control the amount of people in this area. Here's a link to our photos from that trip: http://www.flickr.com/photos/brett4man/sets/72157601914038005/
