Does anyone know how I could find out if the Enchanted Valley hike has re-opened from the 2007 storm? I assume it would be but you never know.
I did the Enchanted Valley hike during Memorial Day. The road is closed to reach the trailhead, so you have to hike another 4 miles (according to NPS--think it's a little over 5) each way. Other than that, the trail was in good condition at least to the Ranger station in the Enchanted Valley. We only encountered a few trees down. Beyond the Ranger Station, I'm not totally sure what the conditions are like (probably still snowy).
