I must admit i hav enever been to aneroid lake. (sounded too much like hemorrhoid to me). So my wife and i hiked to ice lake. I will promise you that you will not be disapointed. We both agree that it is one of the most beautiful places we have ever seen. My wife used to live in hawaii too so thats saying something! Anyway, you can check out my pics they are of ice lake.
Yeah I am planning on hiking Ice Lake this year. Aneroid is also pretty neat there are cabins that they have helicoptered in and brought up with pack animals. And a cool guy that is the care taker he is very informative. Also there is a scramble hike you can take to the top of a mountain and it is called The Castle. What time of year did you go to Ice Lake? The snow level is down to the lake almost. I can't wait to go. Thanks for the feedback.
